WEC Toroidal Conductivity Controllers

Walchem's WEC Series Controller is a dual input/output unit designed to measure solution conductivity via an encapsulated, non-contacting (toroidal) sensor to control chemical feed pumps and alarms, and to increase system productivity.

The WEC may be applied in a number of very harsh chemical applications, including oily cleaner baths, chromates, rinse tanks, fume scrubbers and other concentrated chemicals up to 1000 mS/cm.  Choice of simple ON/OFF control scheme or time proportional control.  UL/CSA/CE certified.

• Single or dual input: one unit monitors two baths with control output and alarm relay for each - huge savings of cost, space, installation expenses.
• Electrodeless sensor design measure accurately over a wide dynamic range and can be used in applications from 50 µS to 1000 mS.
• Use a low cost CPVC sensor for most applications, or a PEEK/316SS sensor for temperatures over 180°F.
• Programmable for simple on/off control, or for time proportional control, which allows tight control of the conductivity using low cost pumps or valves.
• Choice of conductivity measurement units: µS/cm, mS/cm, ppm or % concentration.
• Microprocessor based, with easy to operate menus.
