WebMasterONE Software Revision Level Descriptions (WMT8, WMB8, WM18)

Always upgrade to the latest version for the greatest reliability! We are continuously improving the WebMaster! Here are the features we have included lately. Please note that if you have an early revision of the software, you may only update to the latest revision, not to any intermediate revision.

Version 24
The ranges for graphs of all disinfection sensor types will now be correct. The ranges for graphs of 2,4,8 and 12 hour durations will now be correct.

Version 23
Analog output data may now be sent to VTouch. Deleting the Manual Datalog on download is now optional. Added the ability to superimpose an adjustable duty cycle on on/off set point control. All set points related to an input or analog output are displayed on the System Summary page. More time frame options are available for the graphs. Exported graphs now include the controller name and location in the image. Support for the latest 2G and 3G modems has been added. The following bugs have been fixed: Analog Outputs in the datalog when not available to select; Redundant Mode for Analog Flowmeters did not stop control or alarm; Changing set points in Flow Based Feed can activate the relay; Default manual temperature compensation is 77C not 25C; Parameters selected to show on LCD disappear after power cycle; Graphs show the wrong temperature input in the name; Averages not graphing; Graphs incorrect for analog inputs if scaled inversely; Graph data deleted if the Analog Input is rescaled; Custom Country Code field corruption; GPRS modem initialized incorrectly; Min, Max, Ave, Logging and Alarming still active during sensor calibration; Missing Manual Datalog download links; Log file changes date/time format; Log files drop parameters; Bleed Vol on Makeup Vol control mode calculation errors; Feed on % Time control mode calculation problems if less than 1% of time; On/Off Set Point control mode using analog input only allows settings in integers.

Version 21a
Prevents a 32-day online graph from stopping at 21 days. Prevents an empty online graph. Prevents flowmeter type analog input average being reported as the same as the current reading on the System Summary page. Prevents the auto-reporting logging frequency from being set to 0 min:sec. Prevents the controller from trying to re-synchronize the real time clock based on a bad reading, if the battery has failed.

Version 21
Allows the online graphs to automatically update.

Version 20
Several enhancements have been added, including single-point calibration for analog inputs, a new fluorometer analog input mode to support use of the Turner Little Dipper fluorescent dye transmitter, and adding proportional feed to the analog output control modes. VTouch communications capability has been enhanced as well. The reliability of the online graphing has been improved, and graphs may be viewed (but not exported) over a VCell GPRS connection now. A new menu selection in the Startup page allows you to change the color of the web pages.

Version 17

Version 15

Version 13
Now available for the new core. Version 13 upgrade is a very important upgrade to perform! This provides much more reliable USB connections and increases the robustness of the operating system. This upgrade must be performed from version 12, so if you are at a version below 12, do the upgrade to 12 first and then upgrade to version 13.

Version 12
Now available for the new core. Key problems fixed include adding a configurable SMTP port to the Advanced Comms settings, showing only the analog output cards installed, showing the process value instead of the mA value on the LCD Input Summary view, and adding missing country codes to the pulldowns for phone numbers.

Version 11
Available for the new core. Key problems fixed include recognition of the Pt1000 temperature element, adding decimal places to totals in the log files, fixing interlocks of Feed as % Time algorithms, and Hand mode not working if a space was in the time limit field.

Version 10
First software version for the newer, faster core computer board. In addition to better performance, the live data may be viewed using a non- Java method, which works much better with new browsers like Internet Explorer 7.0. If you have an old browser, such as IE 5.0 or 6.0 and can’t use the new Non-Java, simply go to the Advanced Comms page and switch to Java. Version 10 and higher are only available if you have the new core board! The older core board cannot go higher than version 9.

Version 9-02
Updates firmware to version 2.6 which prevents keypad lockups from occurring, and fixes a problem with ShoulderTap of a master controller when using a subnetwork in version 9-01. Updates to 9-01 must be done by contacting Walchem.

Version 9-01
Provides support for non-Java live data and graphs, the ability to use a non-standard SMTP port for sending emails, and adding more countries to the pulldown list for ShoulderTap. We also fixed problems where the intermittent sampling shows live reading during the Wait period, calibration issues with intermittent sampling, the relay log erasing on power cycle, and interlocking problems with Feed as % Time.

Version 8
Bug fixes include a problem in Feed after Another Relay control mode where the on-time could be calculated incorrectly, an output time limit sometimes being used in a Timed Biocide mode, the relay log registering every 10 minutes instead of when triggered by an event, and some datalog headers being wrong under certain configurations. False sensor self test failures have been eliminated. Cycles of Concentration is now a parameter that may be selected on the Graphing/Trending page.

Version 6
Fixes an issue where the system summary email was missing a set point when using Intermittent Sampling and another where ShoulderTap® would not always work with digital PBX phone lines.

Version 5
The set point is now displayed on the System Summary page when using Intermittent Sampling. A preliminary version that supports GPRS cell modem communication is included. A separate instruction manual addendum is available on the Walchem website. Data that was missing from Modbus is now available. If you are currently using Modbus and upgrade to v005 or higher, the location of data will move to different registers! The updated instruction manual is available on the Walchem website.

Version 4
This version of software has the most comprehensive testing of any produced so far. Problems addressed include: situations where interlocking of ORP spike or Biocide relays could cause the add to be missed instead of just delayed; certain modes where the set point changes on web pages would not take; intermittent sampling modes using AI instead of a sensor would not sample; email failures; empty data logs; intermittent false self test failures; ORP spike ends early; graphs load slowly and can have the wrong date range. The Relay Log will now include the state of any Interlock-type digital input. There is one important difference with the new upgrade compared to past upgrades. In the past, all set points were retained through a software upgrade. In this case, the biocide program has been completely re-written so after the upgrade is complete the biocide must be re-programmed! The old settings will be GONE!

Version 3
The user configuration file will now include the ISP information, ASMTP used, and modem country settings. The 4-20 mA outputs will no longer react to calibration buffers. Problems fixed include: Active log and user log growing too large, a rare problem with calibrating S3 as a high temp conductivity, mapping high temp conductivity to a 4-20 mA output, calculating the on time in Feed After another Relay mode, and making sure all fields are filled in when changing relay modes or sensor assignments.

Version 2
The RSI and LSI indices may now be mapped to a 4-20mA output. Authenticated SMTP is now avilable for use for emails over an Ethernet connection. The config file now includes ISP information, ASMPT used and modem country. The control relays will not react to buffer calibration changes. Problems fixed include; Water meter totals no longer reset on power cycle;Paddlewheel flow meter rate calculation accuracy is now good; Calibration of boiler sensors with continuous sampling works correctly using PC; Active log download button is now a link, log opens correctly; Flow switch input alarm functions correctly; On-line graphs will be drawn more reliably.
